ScorBot ER-4U Educational Robot
The ScorBot ER-4U is an efficient and versatile system tailored for industrial robotics training and education. This robot arm can be mounted on various surfaces, including tabletops, pedestals, or linear slidebases, allowing for flexible configurations. Its impressive speed and accuracy make it suitable for both independent operations and integration into automated workcell setups, such as robotic welding, machine vision, CNC machine tending, and other flexible manufacturing system (FMS) tasks.
The robot is supported by ScorBase programming and control software, while the optional RoboCell 3D graphic software empowers students to design, create, and control simulated industrial workcells, providing real-time simulations of the robot and workcell devices during programming and execution. The design promotes visibility of the robot's mechanical parts while ensuring a safe learning environment for students.
