Diagnosis and Maintenance of a High Voltage Battery Trainer
It's predicted that by 2030, there will be ~25.19M EVs in operation in the US*: Will your grads be ready?
The TruckTrain "Diagnosis and Maintenance of a High Voltage Battery" is an advanced training system developed by Lucas-Nülle, designed to equip automotive students with practical skills in diagnosing and repairing high-voltage (HV) batteries used in hybrid and electric vehicles. This comprehensive system emphasizes hands-on experience, allowing trainees to disassemble HV batteries to replace individual cells and sensors, thereby addressing system-critical situations that may arise due to malfunctions.
The HV battery is designed for easy disassembly, allowing for the replacement of individual cells and sensors. This facilitates practical diagnosis and repair, especially in critical situations arising from malfunctions in hybrid and electric vehicles. Training addresses faults that cannot be resolved independently, focusing on the HV system, its protective devices, and issues within the energy storage system. Diagnostics can be initiated using an integrated tester, with further analysis possible through standard HV measuring equipment. This process includes identifying faults in safety systems, temperature sensors, and battery cells, ultimately leading to a qualification in energy storage system maintenance.
