The CNC Milling Technology course offers students a foundational understanding of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) milling through practical engagement with the ProMill 8000 and various machining projects.
Students will explore the core principles of CNC milling by operating industrial-level equipment to accurately produce a series of complex components. They will observe the advantages of CNC technology, which surpasses the limitations of traditional, time-consuming manual machining processes.
The course includes hands-on activities that challenge students to develop and refine machining programs while working on diverse parts. Participants will gain valuable experience in machine setup, selecting appropriate cutting tools, simulating tool paths, and managing machining center operations. Students will also tackle real-world CNC milling scenarios, emphasizing key industrial priorities such as optimized programming, precision in milling, and improved productivity.
The machining center is designed with an intuitive software interface and complies with industry standards, including EIA, ISO, Fanuc, and G&M codes.
