Technical support is available via e-mail, telephone or fax.

When contacting technical support for assistance, please have the following information ready:

Problem
Description

Write a brief description of your problem or question that you can email, fax, or read on the phone.

Document any error messages.

If you have an intermittent problem, it is recommended that you keep a log of error events.


Computer Configuration

Computer make and model. Desktop or Laptop?

e.g. Dell Optiplex 320 desktop

 

Processor type & speed

e.g. Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8200 Processor 2.33GHz

 

Memory (RAM)

e.g. 4GB


Stand-alone (local) or network PC? Is the application software being run on the stand-alone PC or the network PC?

Any and all peripherals connected to your computer (e.g. Printer, Scanner, Web-cam, etc)

 

To view your computer information, right-click on My Computer, select Properties and view the General tab.

 


Software Version
Number

We provide installation and troubleshooting help with KeyCreator, DataCAD, SURFCAM, and Envisioneer

To determine your version number, select Help from the program menu and then select About.

Write down the version number.

e.g. Kubotek KeyCreator 8.0.0

 

Operating
System Version

Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

To determine your operating system, right-click on

My Computer, select Properties and view the General tab.
