  • Can I upload other files besides STL files? Yes you can!  Although STL files are the most accurate and recommended, accepted file formats include:  ZIP, STL, SLDPRT, PRT, IPT, IGS, STP, STEP, DOC, XLS, PDF, DWG, TXT, IGES, DXF, JPG, X_T, X_B, SAT, EPRT, TIF, WRL, CATPART.  Any file type(s) can also be combined and submitted in Zip format but only 3D CAD files can be instantly quoted.  CAD files are used by our machines directly to create 3D parts of your design. b
  • Can I just get an instant quote without placing an order? No problem.  Once you have generated the quote, you have the option to print the quote, email the quote, or buy now.  If you only want the quote information, just log out.  Your quote will be saved for when you decide to print the part.  You can also update the quote by changing quantities or the rapid prototyping process at that time or when you log in next  time. b

Stereolithography (SLA)

SLA uses a vat of liquid, UV-curable photopolymer resin, and a UV laser to build parts one layer at a time.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

SLS uses a high-power laser to fuse small particles of powder to build parts one layer at a time.

SLS Highlights

  • Ideal for durable, functional parts with a variety of applications. Capable of producing snap fits and living hinges.
  • Maximum dimension for instant quote: 28”x19”x19”. Parts with larger dimensions are also available. Please contact your sales manager to discuss.
  • SLS Material choices include: Nylon (Duraform PA), Glass-Filled Nylon (Duraform GF), Flame Retardant Nylon and Durable Nylon (Duraform EX).
  • Standard Tolerances: +/- 0.5% or +/- 0.005" per inch. SLS parts produced will have the "x, y, z" features measured and compared to the supplied CAD data.
  • Layer Thickness: 0.004".
  • Good Choice for high-heat & chemically resistant applications.
ColorJet Printing (CJP)
RPZPrint ColorJet Printing (CJP)
CJP involves two components – core and binder. Color binder is selectively jetted from inkjet print heads over the core layer, which causes the core to solidify, resulting in a full-color three-dimensional model.

  • Excellent for demonstration models, especially where color or labels are required to demonstrate final product.

  • CJP materials: VisiJet PXL
  • Standard Tolerances of: +/- 0.005" for the first inch, +/- 0.002” on every inch thereafter.
  • In the z height (vertical), standard tolerances of +/- 0.01" for the first inch, +/- 0.002” on every inch thereafter.
  • CJP Layer Thickness: Horizontal build layers between .0035” and .004”.
  • CJP Finish Options: Standard (Coated with ColorBond)
MultiJet Printing (MJP)
RPProjet MultiJet Printing (MJP)
MJP Technology provides a quick turnaround for smooth, fully-cured parts.The process consists only of UV bulbs and photopolymer materials.

MultiJet Printing Highlights

  • MJP Layer Thickness: Horizontal build layers down to 16 microns (0.0006").

Cast Urethane
PPCastUrethane Cast Urethane
Cast Urethane uses silicone molds to create urethane molded parts. Silicone is cast around a SLA master pattern. After curing, the mold is then used to form a two-part polyurethane material in the shape of the master.
