SURFCAM® Version 2005 uses the latest version of DirectX® technology from Microsoft’s ActiveX® technology suite. The move to use ActiveX® vs. Open-GL is due to its broad support of modern color cards supporting this technology, modernization, and capabilities.

Caution: SURFCAM is not supported for Windows® 95, Windows® 98, or Windows® Me. If you try to install in Windows® 95, the installation aborts with an error message. You may install SURFCAM on Windows® 98 or Windows® Me, but any errors are attributed to the operating system, and therefore technical support is not available.
