Tech Ed Concepts, Inc. Donates Over $500,000 in CAD/CAM Software
and Textbooks to National SkillsUSA-VICA Competitions

NH - August 13, 2002 - Tech Ed Concepts, Inc. (TEC, Inc.), a full-service
3D design and manufacturing technology provider for educators and
students, recently donated CADKEY®, DataCAD® and SURFCAM® software
and textbooks to Secondary and Post-Secondary students who participated
in the Technical Drafting, Architectural Drafting and Automated
Manufacturing National SkillsUSA-VICA Championships in Kansas City,
MO (over $500,000 value.) In addition, TEC awarded software and
curriculum materials to the winners of each competition and their
respective schools they represented.
Participants in the Technical Drafting
competition received a full version of CADKEY 19; Architectural
Drafting students received professional Architectural Drafting software,
DataCAD, while Automated Manufacturing Students received SURFCAM,
computer-aided manufacturing software.
SkillsUSA-VICA is a national organization serving
a quarter-million high school and college students and professional
members who are enrolled in technical, skilled, and service occupations.
Each year, students compete first at the state level, and then the
winners continue on to the SkillsUSA-VICA National Competition in
