Student Wins the Gold Using DataCAD® in the NH Skills
USA-VICA Architectural Competition
Pembroke, NH (May 19, 2003)
- Peter Barton, a junior at Kingswood Regional High School
recently won the gold medal in the Architectural Drafting Competition
at the New Hampshire SkillsUSA-VICA Championship, using DataCAD,
a professional-level CAD program for architectural design used in
industry worldwide. In addition to taking first place, Kingswood
High School junior Ricky Hammer, took the bronze medal in the Architectural
Drafting competition using DataCAD.
Glenn Wilson, Kingswood H.S. Architectural
Drafting Instructor stated, “I am so pleased with my students’
success with DataCAD. DataCAD’s ease of use has allowed my
students to quickly develop a passion for 3D architectural design.”
Wilson has been teaching Technical Drawing, Architectural Drafting,
and Computer-Aided Drafting at Kingswood H.S. since 1984.
