President of Tech Ed Concepts, Inc. Receives "Friend of Technology Education" Award Amarosa is Recognized Again for Dedication to Technology Education Gorham, ME - March 28, 2002 - Richard Amarosa, President of Tech Ed Concepts, Inc., North American Academic Distributor for CADKEY®, DataCAD® and SURFCAM® recently received the "Friend of Technology Education" award from the Technology Education Association of Maine (TEAM.) The award was presented by John Kraljic, Engineering Technology Teacher (Falmouth High School, Falmouth, ME), at TEAM's annual conference at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. " "Dick was honored with TEAM's Friend of Technology Education award for his years of continual support to the profession. Tech Ed Concepts' annual TEC Summer Camp for Instructors has filled a gap that was created when state and federal funding for technology education summer academies and institutes dried up," said Kraljic. "The level of support that teachers can expect from Tech Ed Concepts is unparalleled," Kraljic affirmed. In receipt of his award, Amarosa said, "The State of Maine has one of the most organized and focused organizations for technology education in the country from my experience and travels.
