Technology Educators from 18 States
across the U.S. Bedford, NH - August 13, 2002 - Tech Ed Concepts, Inc. (TEC, Inc.), the exclusive North American Academic Distributor for CADKEY®, DataCAD® and SURFCAM®, recently hosted its eighth annual TEC Summer Camp (TSC) during the weeks of July 8th and July 15th, 2002 at the Wayfarer Inn in Bedford, NH. Over sixty technology educators from eighteen states across the United States attended. TEC Summer Camp specifically caters to middle-school, secondary and post-secondary instructors. It contains a series of 40+ comprehensive instructional hours of training, classroom materials, modular and innovative curriculum designed to assist technology education instructors by increasing their knowledge of CAD and CAM using the latest releases of CADKEY, DataCAD and SURFCAM. Learning from fellow Educators in the academic marketplace, TSC is a full week of hands-on training taught by certified professional secondary and post-secondary classroom instructors. This year, courses included CADKEY 101, CADKEY 201 and CADKEY 301; DataCAD 101 and DataCAD 201 and CNC 101 and CNC 201. Attendees gained all the information necessary to effectively facilitate 3D CAD, Solid Modeling and CAM techniques in their classrooms. New Hampshire Community Technical College Instructor and TSC attendee, Steve Towle, commented, "I decided to spend a week at TEC Summer Camp specifically because of the interaction with other teachers from across the country as well as to learn the software."
