KeyCreator™ and Envisioneer™ Software to
Women in Engineering
Concord, NH – April 17, 2007
– Technology Education Concepts (TEC), Inc., announced that
they have granted $45,000 (commercial value) of KeyCreator™
Mechanical CAD and Envisioneer™ Architectural CAD to the 5th
Annual Women in Engineering Conference hosted last week by the College
of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire.
TEC donated the software in cooperation with Kubotek USA, developer
of KeyCreator software, and Cadsoft Corp., developer of Envisioneer
software.
Twenty students were randomly selected to receive the software.
These students will have the opportunity to gain real-world CAD
experience using award-winning full commercial versions of KeyCreator
or Envisioneer. KeyCreator introduces the powerful tools of Mechanical
CAD and NC to students taking a “real geometry” approach
to 3D Modeling. Design engineers internationally use KeyCreator
for diverse applications in aerospace, automotive, machine design,
reverse engineering and more. Envisioneer is used by architects
and building designers worldwide for the creation of 3D design,
working drawings, framing, rendering, animation, material take-off
and cut lists. KeyCreator and Envisioneer are distributed to educators,
schools, and students by TEC nationally.
Students and their instructors in pre-engineering programs from
high schools throughout New Hampshire were invited to attend the
event. Over 175 students and teachers attended the conference that
aims to increase the State’s female high-school pre-engineering
enrollment and engineering degree graduates. For more information,
